About the area
The office is located on Markgrafendamm in Friedrichshain, between Ostkreuz and the Spree, close to the Stralau peninsula. The Spree riverbank is only about 700 metres away, ideal for a walk during the lunch break. Markgrafendamm itself has a long history: around 1719, Margrave Albrecht Friedrich of Brandenburg-Schwedt had a log road built here across the marshy ground to link Rummelsburg and Stralau. Today the neighbourhood combines its industrial heritage with Friedrichshain’s lively creative and tech scene, making it an inspiring base for small teams and independent professionals.
The location is very well connected by public transport. Ostkreuz station is less than ten minutes’ walk away and is served by S-Bahn lines S3, S5, S7, S8, S9, S41, S42 and S75 as well as regional trains. Bus lines 104, 194 and 347 also run along Markgrafendamm, and Warschauer Straße with U-Bahn lines U1 and U3 can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot. If you arrive by car, Markgrafendamm connects Stralauer Allee with Hauptstraße, and parking is available in the surrounding streets.
